Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond, VA, Inc.

While Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond cannot make medicine taste better or take away painful treatments, we can help lessen the burden and ensure that hundreds of families a year have the stability and resources they need to keep their child healthy and happy.

For 33 years, our approach has been to think locally by tailoring our programs to address the most urgent needs of the community we serve. In addition to the cornerstone Ronald McDonald House program, the Richmond chapter supports Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU and Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital. We award grants to other nonprofit organizations that align with our mission to positively impact the health and well being of children. We are also committed to education. Our chapter awards fifteen scholarships each year through RMHC Scholars to students entering college from the Greater Richmond area.

Ronald McDonald House Charities is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization and makes an immediate, positive impact on children’s lives through a global network of more than 300 local Chapters in 57 countries. Each local Ronald McDonald House Charities Chapter is a seperate public charity, operated by a local Board of Directors.
