Our mission is to provide assistance, education and positive support services before, during and after diagnosis, treatment and recovery of Breast Cancer.
Breast Cancer Survivor Support Groups
Through our volunteers, we provide 35+ breast cancer support groups throughout Georgia including groups for young adult survivors, minorities and Spanish speaking women. All of our facilitators are approved by doctors and are trained breast cancer survivors.
Continuous, caring attention daily throughout your breast cancer treatment and recovery.
Pink Prayer List
Local prayer groups including churches will put patients on their non-denominational daily prayer list upon request. Patients also receive a hand made by volunteers prayer card each month from a survivor volunteer and a “Pillow of Hope” for encouragement.
Any uninsured or under-insured breast cancer patient can receive FREE breast cancer supplies, such as bras, prostheses, wigs, hats, turbans, scarves, surgical pillows and drainage bags. Financial assistance for lymphodema sleeves is available upon request.
Community Outreach-Health Fairs & Speaker’s Bureau
Trained volunteers provide educational breast cancer health classes, self breast exam (SBE) instructions and materials. Materials are available in other languages for health fairs and events.
A certified professional counselor (breast cancer survivor) is available to schedule a free hour session to a newly diagnosed patient.
Providing the uninsured, under-insured and under-served with financial assistance, resources, mammograms assistance, and transportation for testing if needed. (Funds are limited and based on need)
Survivors, supporters and members of the community come together to celebrate breast cancer survivorship and enjoy great food, shopping and entertainment. Service concludes with a candlelight service to honor our loved ones surviving breast cancer and a memorial for those that have lost their battle.
