The Mission of the Camano Center is to create and provide opportunities that support healthy aging, independence, and well-being for older adults in our community. The Camano Center is a driving force for older adults and community residents of Camano Island and the surrounding areas. Through an array of educational, recreational, and wellness activities, the Camano Center enriches the lives of thousands. In addition, we provide critical support services to older adults and vulnerable members of our community such as: medical rides, essential services transportation, support of nutritional programs, connections calls, disaster connections, and our medical lending closet. Through these services we provide a multitude of volunteer opportunities, enriching the lives of so many in our community. As 501c3 non-profit organization, the Camano Center is 100% funded by local donors, members, businesses, and our 2nd Chance Thrift Shop. With this financial support, the Camano Center continues to serve the needs of Camano Island and our surrounding community. We strive to make our programs both available and affordable for everyone.
