Welcome to the Church of the Atonement, an Episcopal church in the Anglo-Catholic tradition. For 130 years, Atonement has been a witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our Edgewater neighborhood and in the wider community. Today, we continue in that witness as an active, visionary, and inclusive Anglo-Catholic congregation that serves God through daily prayer and worship, the practice of lifelong Christian learning, and ministries of outreach and justice.
